Who
wouldn’t like Pokémon, especially one that in such a sharp yellow color grace
in the sky? ANA has once again painted
another Pokémon jet, this time namely the Pikachu on a B747-400D. With the gigantic size of a B747, the livery
is fully demonstrated with action of different pocket monster in action. This long sold-out model of Hogan 200 scale
model has replicated the original of the jet and is loved by collectors all
over the world. Thanks to my customer
Oscar, I have been able to witness this gigantic piece in person and I love it.
The
model shown in the picture is the 1000th Boeing 747 which delivered
to Singapore Airlines in the 90s. It is
a significant benchmark for not only Boeing but for Singapore airlines as
well. Singapore airline names its
B747-400 the “Megatop” and is easily been spotted by plane-spotter all over the
world. Time flies and the Queen of sky
gradually leaving the heart of aviation.
Singapore airline has phrase out its last passenger version of B747-400
namely 9V-SPQ in year 2012. We will all
miss this bird in such a graceful livery.
