China airlines has been well known for its horrified safety record, this B747SP has survived in one of the most terrifying aviation incident. The aircraft was enrouted to the West Coast of USA across Pacific, as the plane approached the coastline, it runs into a significant turbulence and the plane has loss control and is about to crash, however just before it impact the ground, the pilot manage to take control of the plane and land the plane safely. The plane has been repaired and returned to service, however it became significantly fuel economical after the incident, boeing later discovered that the wings of the plane has been bended upward after the incident which improve the aero-dynamic, this accidental discovery has been used into the future development of modern aircrafts
